This month I want to talk couches for my monthly wish list. Specifically sectionals.
I am getting ready to purchase a new sofa. My teenage boys complain that they don’t fit on our standard size couch plus it is worn out. They want to stretch out!!
So the question is to sectional or not to sectional?
My living room is my entry way and family room. I don’t want to sacrifice style but I still want it to feel cozy and welcoming. My plan is to embrace the “Glamily Room”. Which is the trend for 2016 according to House Beautiful. See my Glamily Room Pinterest Board for more inspiration.
I thought that after having a poufy leather sectional with recliners that I would never go back. The sectional has come a long way though. There are several options that I would actually consider. Some are pocket book friendly others are really just a dream. But hey this is a wish list, so I can dream.
Like the Pottery Barn leather chesterfield
or the fabric version …..
This choice from West Elm has a great streamlined look without sacrificing comfort. Urban 3-piece sectional
I love the traditional rolled arm design of the Essex collection from Crate and Barrel
This one from Living Spaces looks so comfortable and it is actually only 1K. That is an incredible price, one that I could actually afford.
Another one that is only 1K is the ever popular slipcovered IKEA Ektorp Series
Living Spaces has the Costello at just 2K …..also an affordable price.
Thanks for talking sectionals with me today.
I would love to know if you have a sectional and if you do, do you like it?
