The Historic Mission Inn Review

The Historic Mission Inn ReviewI have to say that I loved my stay at the Mission Inn. It is in downtown Riverside California. It is the largest example of Mission Revival architecture in the United States. As we all know the Missions are a huge part of California history. The Mission Inn was never an actual mission. It was started by Frank Augustus Miller who built it as a hotel and was inspired by Mission Revival architecture and his own travels across Europe and Asia. Miller opened the first wing of the current Mission Inn building in 1903 and it continued to expand from there. It is a truly stunning work of art. * I am not being compensated to provide this review, all opinions are my own. Read more

Kona Kai Resort Review

Kona Kai Resort ReviewMy husband and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary and treated ourselves to a resort getaway in San Diego. It was a wonderful stay. The staff was delightful. They found out it was our anniversary and sent cheesecake and champagne to our room on the house. They didn’t even know that I was a blogger. This is not a sponsored post. All the opinions are my own and I was not compensated for my opinions.  Read more

I have a farmers market near me that is in such a great location. It’s at an old school-house that is still in use and it is being renovated. It’s nestled in the orange groves in the middle of Redlands, CA. That’s why it’s called The Grove. Read more
