Allen Roth Solid Surface Countertop Review
Over the summer we decided to put our tax return towards a 10 yr dream…new kitchen countertops!!!! We wanted to cut down a stepped up bar top, that was absolutely useless, and make it a counter height peninsula. Much work went into that process but that is a story for another day. There is still much to be done like the subway tile back splash as you can see in the following pics. When I was making my decision I couldn’t find any information on these counters. I love to read reviews, I won’t buy something if I can’t read a review and yet I never write them. I am changing that with this post. I hope that it helps someone making this same decision.

Updating a Builder’s Grade Bathroom
The builder’s grade bathroom in our tract house was in dire need of a makeover, but we didn’t have very much money to spend. We had already taken out the carpet and added tile. Ewwww, why do they put carpet in bathrooms??? We needed to keep it simple and just work with the vanity that we had. Adding Wood Feet to a Bathroom Vanity
When we updated our bathroom I wanted to do something to make the vanity look like furniture. We added these wood feet from Lowe’s Shop this link
They were a little too wide for the depth of the toe kick recess. The fix was to add a piece of quarter round to the bottom of the cabinet face and trim a litte off the back side of the feet. Read more
